Some changes tonight…first in the weather! With steadily deteriorating conditions, we opened the doors about 4:00 – more than an hour earlier than usual. And with God’s perfect timing, Pastor Stella had set up a large room with round tables, tablecloths, a coffee pot, a K-cup machine with hot cocoa and coffee selections, and even some cookies and popcorn! I heard more than one person express thanks for that warm greeting. Thank-you Stella for your tender-hearted nature!!!
Please notice the volunteer need below. Also, is anyone going from the Covenant part of town to far south Austin (South Congress near Slaughter)? We have a pile of empty banana boxes that need to be dropped off at Capital Area Food Bank. They are light weight but take up a lot of space, so you’d need a SUV, van or truck to hold very many. I wouldn’t make a special trip for this – it’s too far! Let me know if you can help with this.
Blessings to you all. Please pray for all our clients.
Laura Clemens and her staff at the Covenant Preschool conducted a food drive for us! That is so wonderful, not just the gathering of food, but providing the boys and girls the hands-on lesson about being kind to those in need. Thank-you so much to Laura and all the teachers for the great job you do.
Needs list, for persons wanting to donate food: canned fruit, peanut butter, mac & cheese

- Recently, we’ve had more volunteers than needed on Wednesday evenings, so I now have a wait list!
