Food Pantry Weekly, 27Jul2016

Greetings Foodies!
It was a great day at the Food Pantry – and a busy one!  We had the privilege of serving 85 households tonight, the busiest since January, and we completed Intake on 29 households. I don’t know about the other volunteers tonight, but I’m exhausted! Everyone seems to give their all to help and I know several tonight are as tired as I am!  Set up. Deliveries. Serving food. Restocking the serving lines. Prayer. Helping clients out to their vehicles or bus. Clean-up. And lots of paperwork. What an organization. What a team. What a loving God we serve who gives us the resources and the strength to get everything done!
If you have never volunteered here before, come join us on Wednesday at 5:00 to see first hand what it is that keeps our volunteers coming back!  Or contact me about helping behind the scenes during the week. And if you are interested in exploring a leadership position in the Food Pantry, please contact me or Pastor Stella.
Thank you to all our supporters and volunteers, and as always, please pray for all our clients.
