Food Pantry Weekly, 29Jun2016

Greetings Foodies!
It was a great day at the Food Pantry!  At 3:00 we had a training class for volunteers who will be doing “Intake” on all clients — certifying them as eligible to receive USDA food. This is an annual requirement by the USDA, so the first few weeks in July are extra busy. And speaking of volunteers, I believe we set a record this week as 30 individuals gave of their time (some more than once) to help the food pantry ministry at Covenant.
If you have never volunteered here before, come join us on Wednesday at 5:00 to see first hand what it is that keeps our volunteers coming back!  And if you are interested in exploring a leadership position in the Food Pantry, please contact Carl or Pastor Stella.
Thank you to all our supporters and volunteers, and as always, please pray for all our clients.
