It was another great night at the Food Pantry. We began telling our clients tonight that we will be offering English as Second Language classes! Jane Nagase will be leading those on Wednesday afternoons before Food Pantry beginning October 21. Thanks Jane!
Our cupboard is bare! We increasingly struggle to find enough food to match our current client needs. We need new sources of food and buying retail is not within our financial means. God has always provided what we’ve needed for his hungry children. Please pray that He will show us where to go from here, and please pray for all our clients!
This week’s needs list for those wanting to donate shelf-stable food: cereal, mac&cheese, peanut butter, rice. Also, we can always use reusable grocery shopping bags (Not paper or “single-use” plastic bags please.)
If you have questions about how to make financial or food donations, contact the church office at 512-346-3124.
This week’s numbers:
– # of volunteers: 21
– # households served: 79
– # individuals served: 241
– # first-timers: 9
