Food Pantry Weekly Update 14Sept2016

Greetings Foodies!

It was one of those nights! I knew several of our regular volunteers would not be there so I was praying that someone would show up to fill the gaps. Then I saw a lady and a young girl that I didn’t recognize head straight for me. She said she was a member of Covenant and wanted to know if they could help out! Duh! God is so good so why do I worry? Thanks go out to Daphne and Clementine, our newest volunteers!

It was a very busy night and being somewhat short handed, everyone pitched in extra doing some jobs they don’t normally do. One such volunteer told me about one of new clients that was blown away not only by the amount of food she received but by the extreme graciousness and friendliness of the volunteers. You just know that must put a smile on God’s face as we all reflect the image of Christ!

This ministry helps those who serve as much as it helps the ones who need the food! That’s how God’s economy works!

To God be the Glory!

Thank you to all our supporters and volunteers, and as always, please pray for all our clients and for one another!
