Meet Our Pastor
Rev. Wilson Pruitt
Pastor
Rev. Wilson graduated from the University of Texas in Austin where he studied English. He studied Theology and graduated at Duke University. He served as a pastor at Berkeley United Methodist Church and Bee Creek United Methodist Church. He enjoys learning about the Methodists and has a History of Methodism Podcast which is a rigorous and entertaining look at the long history of the Methodist movement, offering context, both historical and spiritual, to the founding a growth of one of the most impactful Christian movements in history. He speaks several languages, has written many devotions, and is an accomplished musician with a number of originals including children's songs that tell rarely told stories from the Bible. He has a wonderful wife and two incredible children.

Evelyn Gardner
Bookkeeper
Evelyn recently joined our staff as our part time Bookkeeper. She retired about a year ago from a career in College Media and newspaper publishing.
Steve Wottrich
Organist/Pianist
Steve Wottrich is our faithful pianist and organist, and has served at Covenant for nearly 15 years. We are blessed to have someone of his caliber who is able to play so many styles with such grace. You might see him on the streets of Austin in his day job as a postman.
Lynne Jackson
Director of Music
Lynne comes with over 30 years of experience at West University UMC in Houston. She has a Masters in Sacred Music from Perkins School of Theology in Dallas. As a multi-faceted professional musician and administrator, she is highly skilled in choral and handbell directing for all ages, worship planning, program development, and program administration. She is excited to serve at Covenant UMC
Jan Glosser
Preschool Director
Jan taught pre-Kindergarten at Covenant UMC Preschool for eight years before becoming Director. Her previous experience includes other preschool teaching, as well as teaching kindergarten and first grade. She holds her bachelor’s degree in Elementary/Kindergarten Education and her master’s degree in Children’s Literature.
